The tarot card of 2027: Strength

2027 is the year of Strength

On the Strength card, a woman calmly holds a lion’s jaws. The lion stands for our passions, fears, anger and ambitions; the woman is a gentle but unshakable will. The core idea of the arcanum: true strength lies not in struggle but in self-control. That is why 2027 will test your nerves and patience, but it will generously reward those who keep their inner balance.

2026 was ruled by Arcanum X, Wheel of Fortune: it brought change, twists and unexpected opportunities. 2027 answers the question of what to do with those changes. Now the point is not to drift with the current but to hold on to what fate has given you and direct your energy toward a long-term goal.

• Main themes of the year: endurance, courage, health and the body, working with emotions, leadership without pressure.
• What will work out: big goals that take persistence; sports; recovering after hard times; relationships where both people are ready to respect each other.
• What to avoid: outbursts of anger, trying to control everything, decisions made on emotion.

The hidden card of the year: The High Priestess

If you add the digits of 11, you get 2: Arcanum II, The High Priestess. Tarot readers call it the hidden card of the year. It adds intuition, silence and inner knowing to the energy of Strength: in 2027 many answers will come not from outside events but from within. It’s a good time to study, explore and listen to yourself.

There is a second nuance as well. In the Rider–Waite deck, which the card meanings on our site are based on, Arcanum XI is Justice, and Strength is number VIII. So some tarot readers call 2027 the year of Justice: a time of consequences, honest decisions and responsibility. Both interpretations agree on the main thing: the year demands maturity and self-control.

What 2027 will bring

Love and relationships

The year tests how solid relationships are: passion and jealousy will run strong, and patience will win. Couples who learn to come to agreements without pressure will grow closer. For single people, the year of Strength advises not to chase dazzle but to choose someone you feel at peace with.

Work and money

A good time for long-term goals: your own business, career growth, big projects. There will be obstacles and competition, but persistence will pay off. Hasty financial decisions made on emotion are the main risk of the year.

Health and energy

Strength is the card of the body and vital energy. 2027 favors sports, a steady routine and recovery. It’s important not to overload yourself and not to suppress your emotions, but to find a healthy outlet for them.

Advice for the year

Tame your “lion” gently: don’t suppress your emotions, and don’t let them rule you. Calm is the greatest strength of 2027.
